Ellen Sines, Owner/Senior Accountant

Growing up in a rural town in Michigan, I lived miles apart from my neighbors and enjoyed the Midwestern lifestyle in the Great Lakes region.  As the daughter of two parents who owned an H&R Block tax office, I began working in the office and helping do tax returns and accounting work as a young teenager.  My family moved to Florida and we began a tax office on Port Saint Lucie Boulevard in 1980.

Today, with over 40 years’ experience, my focus is to provide full-service payroll and accounting services with a primary focus in Human Capital Management offering comprehensive tailored solutions. Partnered with industry-leading software, Apex, we are positioned to provide our clients with new technology streamlining payroll and other workforce management processes.

I enjoy living in Florida’s Treasure Coast with my husband, Pete, two cats, two rabbits and a horse!  My adventures have led me to open a retail store, Horse Cents Tack Shop located in Palm City and online at www.horsecentsonline.com for one-stop-shopping equine supplies.

DFS, Human Capital Management located in Port Saint Lucie and online at  www.payrollserv.com has the ability to provide our clients products and services nationally with the personal service of a local office.  With life’s many surprises, my career passion has never changed.  I love helping people and businesses, start-ups and long-standing business owners, become successful.  It’s what I do.

Christina Engert, Director of Program Operations

Christina is a wonderful asset that joined DFS in 2016.  She has developed from performing accounting and office management to now becoming our Director of Program Operations.  She oversees the program management performing public accounting services and payroll administration utilizing QuickBooks and cloud-based technologies.  She connects with our clients who love her!  Christina provides accounting and payroll solutions to free up management and financial resources for better use of time and efficiency within the clients’ work environment.  She is happily married, has three children; and is the ultimate ‘soccer Mom’.    Christina’s experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments has empowered her to be a highly effective and focused team player.

Margie Johnson, Director of Business Development

Margie was originally a payroll client of Diversified Financial Services who inquired about a career opportunity. She joined our team in the Fall of 2017. Margie recognized the value of our services and is implementing marketing strategies to further our goals in the expansion of payroll services. Her background includes 30+ years in office management, HR administration, corporate accounting, and B2B sales and marketing. She is a positive-minded professional with a can-do attitude. Margie recently celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary, has two adult children; and a cat, named Fenway! And since she grew up south of Boston, she loves her New England Patriots.

Morgan Wilson, Staff Accountant

Morgan is a dedicated professional with proven career stability.   DFS has relied on her business office management experience since 2007.  Her experience in customer relations and night auditing for a hotel chain have been invaluable to our success over the years.  Morgan ensures the accurate and timely processing of financial data with our third-party funding agency.  Morgan is a pleasure to work with.  She coordinates interoffice transactions in banking, workers’ compensation payments, general accounting and payroll within the office.  Morgan is a Florida native and a local Indian River State College graduate.   She participates in the Harry Potter fandom; and is an avid reader of mystery and romance novels.
